One of my favourite Chocolate Protein Shake Recipes high in antioxidants, protein rich and excellent for immunity. It can assist with muscle building, reduce inflammation and help build up your vitality and energy levels.
This Chocolate Protein Shake is a great post-workout shake for muscle recovery or before an endurance cardio session, like hiking or long walk.
It is a meal in itself and would normally replace breakfast, or if you’re extra hungry this Chocolate Protein Shake recipe is just the thing to control your appetite.

Chocolate Protein Shake Recipe
1/2 to 3/4 cup Soy Milk
1 Cup Coconut Water
1 x Heaped Teaspoon Maca Powder
1/2 to 3/4 Teaspoon Supergreen Powder (I used Organic Barley & Wheat Grass Powder)
1 x Teaspoon Bee Pollen
Generous Handful of Mixed Frozen Berries
Instructions – Add Soy Milk and Coconut Water to Shaker container then add FNX Fit Protein Powder, Maca Powder, Supergreen Powder, Bee Pollen and finally mixed frozen berries.
Blend on high for 30 seconds until all berries are blended in. Take on the Go in your shake container or pour into a glass and serve.

The antioxidant properties of berries can help reduce the risk of disease, stabilise blood sugars and insulin levels. They are good source of soluble fibre increasing a feeling of fullness, reducing cravings. Berries are low carb and high in vitamin C.
Berries have anti-inflammatory properties, can help lower cholesterol and protect against cancer. As well as assist with heart health.
